While you may experience some discomfort or pressure when you first start wearing a new set of aligners, most patients find Invisalign treatment more comfortable than traditional braces.
To avoid staining and damaging your aligners, it’s best to remove them when eating or drinking anything other than water. However, you can put them back in after cleaning your teeth.
For optimal results, it’s recommended to wear your Invisalign aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day. You can remove them for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.
